Valid Driving Licence
You must hold a valid driving licence that authorizes you to operate a motorbike in Indonesia. Riding without the required driving licence may result in fines or other penalties.
Wear a Helmet
Both the driver and passenger must wear properly fastened helmets whenever riding. Helmets are an essential safety requirement and help reduce the risk of serious injuries.
Follow Traffic Rules

Keep the scooter registration document (STNK) available while riding. The STNK is stored inside the key wallet attached to your scooter key.

We strongly recommend keeping the key wallet attached to the scooter key at all times to prevent the loss of important vehicle documents. Make sure the STNK can be presented during a police or traffic check.
Never Ride Under the Influence
Never operate a scooter after consuming alcohol or using illegal drugs. Impaired riding puts you, your passenger, and other road users at serious risk.
Respect Local Culture
Wear appropriate clothing when riding and respect Bali's local traditions, communities, and religious areas. Exercise particular care around temples, ceremonies, and community gatherings.
