When you rent a scooter on our website, you can also use our additional service to get an International Driver’s Permit through our partner, the International Drivers Association.
Please note that through us, you can obtain an IDP valid for one year. If you wish to get it for two or three years, you can apply directly through the international Drivers Association or get it here through our partnership.
How to Apply for Your IDP:
To apply, you must be 18 or older and provide a valid national driver's license and a passport-style photo. No test is required.
Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is an official translation of your national driver’s license into an internationally recognized format in accordance with the relevant UN Conventions.
An IDP does not replace your original driver’s license and does not grant any additional driving privileges.
You may only operate vehicles in the categories that are already listed on your original national driver’s license.
We do not issue International Driving Permits ourselves. Instead, we assist customers with obtaining an IDP through our trusted partner.
